This list is not exhaustive, but we aim to provide you with a comprehensive reference that explains interesting and colorful internet terminology you are likely to encounter in the online casino world. Although it's not essential for you to be familiar with all these terms in order to play the game, they're still good to know.

Half Kill
An increase of the betting limits by 50% for a given hand(1) All a player's personal cards. (2) The five cards determining the poker ranking. (3) A single poker deal. or number of hands after certain pre-specified criteria have been met. Example: A $2/$4 limit game with a half kill would increase to a $3/$6 game during hands in which there is a kill. -
Hand
In card games like poker:
- The cards that the player holds.
- The five cards determining the poker ranking (a player's best five cards).
- The different moves in a card game between every deck shuffling.

Handheld Game
Any card game where the players cards are dealt face down and the players are required to pick them up and sort them in-hand. -
Heads Up
An online Poker hand between only two players. -
Hearts
One of the four playing card suits. Formerly representing the clergy. -
High Limit
An online Poker or online Casino game where the amounts wagered are high.
