If you are new to the world of online Poker, the wealth of Poker related terminology might be a bit overwhelming at first. For that reason we have compiled this glossary. This list is not exhaustive, but we aim to provide you with a comprehensive reference that explains interesting and colorful internet terminology you are likely to encounter in the online casino world. Although it's not essential for you to be familiar with all these terms in order to play the game, they're still good to know.

Table Stakes
The amount of money you have on the table. The rule that you can only play a hand with the money you have at the table. -
Tell
An action that gives clues about the cards someone is holding. -
Three of a Kind
An online Poker hand consisting of three cards of the same type. -
Tight
A player who selects hands very carefully and folds easily. -
Toke
A small amount of money (usually $0.50 or $1) given to the dealer by the winner of a pot. Quite often, tokes represent the great majority of a dealer's income. -
Top Pair
Having a pair with the highest card on the board and one in the pocket. -
Top Two Pair
Having both your pocket cards match the highest two cards on the board. -
Tournament
A poker competition, normally with an entry fee and prizes. -
Trips
Three-of-a-kind using one of your hole cards that matches a pair on the board. -
Turn
The fourth community card dealt face up in an online Texas Holdem game. -
Two Pair
An online Poker hand consisting of two different pairs.
