  • Reels [Slots]
These are the rotating virtual reels/columns housed in the slot machine that contain all the slot symbols. Every spin will roll the reels and then stop them in order to land the icons upon the payline(s). Most slot machines use either three or five reels.
  • Reload Bonus
Used by online casino and cardrooms, this is a promotional cash offer in attempts to build customer loyalty and to have existing players make additional deposits.
  • RNG
RNG stands for 'Random Number Generator'. This is the core of any online casino, a computer generated randomness that randomly assigns the outcome of a result such as a roulette spin or a cards shuffle. Usually, housed in a central secure server to ensure gaming fairness, a message is sent to the RNG over the internet each time a player makes a bet/wager. The third-party certified RNG then randomly picks a number, which then is sent back to you (in the casino game) all in a matter of seconds.
  • Rouge [Roulette]
    French for red.
  • Roulette
Roulette (French for "little wheel") is a casino and gambling game where players can place bets on either a number, a range of numbers, the colors red or black, or whether the number is odd or even. To determine the winner, a croupier spins a wheel in one direction, then tosses a ball in the opposite direction around a tilted circular track running around the circumference of the wheel. The ball eventually falls on to the wheel and then into one of 37 (European roulette) or 38 (American roulette) colored and numbered so called pockets on the wheel.
